Essay 1: The Bicycle Accident
One sunny afternoon, I was riding my new bicycle in the park. I was going really fast, feeling like a superhero. There were lots of people around, but I was too excited to slow down.
Suddenly, a little dog ran in front of me. I tried to stop the bike, but it was too late. I hit the brakes hard, and I flew off the bicycle. I landed on the ground with a thud.
My knees and elbows were scraped, and it hurt a lot. I started to cry. Some people who were nearby quickly came to help me. An old lady gave me a tissue to wipe the blood. A man picked up my bicycle and checked if it was okay.
A kind police officer came too. He asked me what happened and made sure I was safe. Then he called my mom. When my mom arrived, she was really worried. She took me to the hospital to get my wounds cleaned and bandaged.
After that accident, I learned that I need to be more careful when I’m riding my bike. I should always pay attention to what’s in front of me and slow down when there are other people or animals around.
Essay 2: The Kitchen Accident
One day, I wanted to make a snack for myself. I decided to make toast. I plugged in the toaster and put the bread inside.
While I was waiting for the toast, I saw a glass of water on the counter. I reached for it, but my elbow hit a plate. The plate fell to the floor and broke into many pieces. The sound was really loud.
I was so scared. I didn’t know what to do. I was afraid I would cut my feet on the broken glass. Just then, my dad came into the kitchen. He told me to stay still and not move.
He got a broom and a dustpan and carefully swept up all the broken glass. Then he asked me if I was okay. I told him what happened, and he said it was just an accident.
He helped me make the toast instead. After that, I learned that I need to be more careful in the kitchen. I should always watch what I’m doing and not be so clumsy.
Essay 3: The Playground Accident
It was recess at school, and I was playing on the swings. I was swinging really high, trying to touch the sky. I was having so much fun.
Suddenly, I saw a boy running in front of the swing. I tried to stop myself, but I couldn’t. The swing hit the boy, and he fell to the ground.
I quickly got off the swing and ran to him. He was crying, and his knee was bleeding. I felt really bad. I told him I was sorry.
Some of our classmates went to get the teacher. The teacher came running and checked on the boy. She took him to the school nurse’s office.
I followed them. The nurse cleaned the boy’s wound and put a band – aid on it. The boy stopped crying, and he said it was okay.
After that accident, I learned that I need to be more aware of other people when I’m playing on the playground. I should always look around before I do something.
Essay 4: The Staircase Accident
One evening, I was in a hurry to go downstairs and watch TV. I was running down the stairs without looking.
I didn’t see that there was a toy on the step. My foot hit the toy, and I lost my balance. I tumbled down a few steps and landed on my back.
It hurt a lot, and I couldn’t get up right away. My mom heard the noise and came running. She was really shocked to see me lying on the stairs.
She helped me stand up and asked me where it hurt. I told her my back and my ankle. She took me to the couch and made me lie down.
She put an ice pack on my ankle and rubbed my back gently. After a while, the pain started to go away.
I learned that I should never run down the stairs in a hurry. I should always be careful and pick up my toys so that I don’t have an accident like that again.
Essay 5: The Skating Accident
I went skating at the local rink with my friends. I was a bit new at skating, but I was really excited.
I was holding on to the side of the rink at first, trying to get used to the feeling. Then I decided to let go and skate on my own.
I was doing okay at first, but then I tried to go a little faster. I lost my balance and fell hard on the ice.
My friends skated over to me. They helped me get up. My hip was really sore, and I could feel a bruise starting to form.
The rink attendant came over and asked if I was okay. He gave me a chair to sit on. I sat there for a while, waiting for the pain to go away.
My friends encouraged me to try skating again, but I was a bit scared. In the end, I got back on the ice, but I skated very slowly and carefully.
This accident taught me that when I’m trying something new, I need to take it slow and be patient with myself.
