A Fishing Trip with Dad

One sunny morning, my dad took me on a fishing trip. We got up really early and drove to a beautiful lake. When we arrived, the lake was so calm that it looked like a big mirror. Dad helped me put the bait on the hook and taught me how to cast the fishing line.

We sat there patiently, waiting for the fish to bite. It was a bit boring at first, but then my fishing rod started to shake! I was so excited and shouted for Dad. He quickly came over and told me to pull the line slowly. With Dad’s help, I caught a small fish. It was wriggling on the hook, and I was a bit scared at first.

Dad smiled and said it was okay. He took the fish off the hook gently. We spent the whole morning fishing by the lake. Even though we didn’t catch a lot of fish, it was really fun.
